Everyone experiences the world through a unique lens. I experience it through my photographs.
Much of my inspiration finds me outdoors, wandering through the woods. Nature slows me down enough to notice what might otherwise go unseen: the subtle shift of light, the resilience of weathered things, the way silence can feel alive. I am drawn to these quiet moments of tension: softness alongside decay, stillness with something stirring beneath the surface.
Photography began to grab my fascination at a young age, a way to carry and process what felt too heavy to hold. At first, I searched for stories in others. Over time, I began to recognize my own story reflected back to me, as though the world had been speaking to me all along.
My work explores the beauty of the everyday, the artistry within the ordinary, and the evolving relationship between humanity and the natural environment. In a culture that often rewards conformity and values sameness. I invite viewers to pause and look more closely. Notice the fleeting quality of light in a particular moment. Wonder about the story behind a stranger’s expression. Marvel at the overlooked beauty of a fallen leaf.
These moments are my inspiration.
Through photography, I seek not only to document what I see, but to encourage a shift in perception. My hope is that my work inspires people to slow down, pay attention, and discover beauty, meaning, and connection in places they may have otherwise passed by. If my photographs can change the way someone sees the world, even briefly, then they have fulfilled their purpose.
